Our Story
Founded in 2019, The Doula Hub was formed to ensure our clients were full supported during one of the most exciting moments of their lives. What if something should happen to your doula and she is unable to support you during the birth of your baby. With covid fresh in our minds, but also the usual day to day things that happen in life, we decided that having a hub of doulas would not only work really well for our clients, but also for each other.
We wanted to ensure though that our clients felt equally comfortable with both their Primary doula and their back-up doulas. All four members of the doula hub, Lauren, Leti, Louise and Maelle, come from similar backgrounds. We are passionate about evidence based birth and dedicated to ensuring our clients are fully informed about what to expect during birth, and the choices they have. We are nurturing, but also very practical. Our aim is to build a strong relationship with our clients leading up to the birth so you feel completely comfortable, but also very excited and relaxed about the birth. We also work hard to ensure your partner, if you have one is fully prepared and knows exactly what you will need. We support them to support you.
