I am a doula and hypnobirthing teacher
My name is Louise Oliver. I was born in Wimbledon and lived there until I was 7 years old when my family moved to Surrey. I now live in Berkshire with two of my three boys.
I completed my Doula Training at the BirthBliss Academy. I gained my Hypnobirthing Diploma at KG Hypnobirthing. I'm an accredited member of Doula UK and The Doula Association....
Antenatal coach & hypnobirthing practitioner
Hypnobirthing empowers you to trust your body and calm your mind. Whether you are hoping for a completely physiological birth or feel you need medical intervention. I am here to guide you through each step, understanding everything you need to know so that your body can birth your baby as calmly and as free from pain as possible.
I will help you to understand the implications of the choices you may be required to make for you and your baby.
Most of all, I will teach you to release your fears and learn to trust your body, your instinct, and your baby. And if you need me to I can be your Doula and help you put it into practice at the birth of your baby.
At a time when lots is going on and there are many outside influences. I will be there every step of the way, for you, your partner and your baby. I will provide an experienced, calm peaceful, unwavering presence during the birth of your baby. Giving support, praise, reassurance and encouragement, from the moment we meet until you hold your baby in your arms and beyond. I will support your partner to support you in the best way that they can. I will help define your birth preferences and be your advocate at all times. I will help to keep you calm, peaceful and in control as you bring your new born baby into the world together.
As your postnatal Doula I will provide emotional, and physical help, allowing you and your partner the time and energy you both need to bond with your new baby and enjoy those first few weeks together.
I will help with the practical side of running a household as well as helping with older siblings, family and pets. Making sure that their needs are taken care of so that you concentrate on being the best Mum that you can be.
Should you need to rest, sleep, or recover from any surgery you can do so knowing your baby is in very safe, loving, nurturing hands just a few feet away in your home in the next room.
