Using Carrot Fertility Insurance for Doula Support

What is Carrot Fertility Insurance?
Carrot is a global fertility and family-forming benefit offered by many employers. Depending on your individual plan, it can be used to cover a wide range of services including pregnancy support, birth preparation and postnatal care.
More and more of my clients are now using Carrot to fund their doula support, either fully or partially, as part of their pregnancy care.
Can I use Carrot to pay for a doula?
In many cases, yes.

How payment works with Carrot
Most clients use Carrot on a reimbursement basis:

You submit these via the Carrot app or portal

You are reimbursed from your allowance

I keep everything simple and transparent, and can structure invoices in a way that aligns with Carrot requirements where needed. I have a pre-agreed fee approved by Carrot.
