About Me

For twenty years, I wore a different hat: navigating the corporate world, balancing budgets and boardrooms, all while raising three wonderful children—Cameron (the tallest and hairiest!), Charlie, and Freddy. But deep down, I knew there was something else waiting for me, a calling that blended my love for families, new parents, and little ones.

Friends started calling me the “baby whisperer,” thanks to my knack for calming both babies and adults alike. One suggested I look into doula work, and something clicked. Here was a way to blend my love of family and natural ability to connect with people, from those first powerful breaths to finding calm in the chaos.

Training with Kicki Hansard at the BirthBliss Academy and earning my Hypnobirthing Diploma from KGHypnobirthing (the “Gold Standard” of hypnobirthing), I found my passion, and I haven’t looked back. I’m a proud Doula UK member and mentor for new doulas, passing on what I’ve learned and staying grounded in their Code of Conduct and Philosophy.

Having had three very different births myself—a premature birth, a hypnobirthing surprise, and a medically led induction—I gained insights that fuel my dedication to making families feel informed, confident, and empowered. My goal is to help you feel in control and prepared for every step of your journey into parenthood.

My previous corporate experience gave me more than just organizational skills; I bring a natural ease in communicating with others, even during challenging moments, and a knack for building rapport with your medical team. In our sessions, you'll not only get practical insights but also have a bit of fun along the way, building a foundation of trust and calm that will stay with you through birth and beyond.

Outside of my work as a doula, I love beach walks, cozy evenings with a good box set, gardening, and skiing. I’m also learning to sail (day skipper theory: check!) and recently welcomed a puppy from Cyprus into the family. Life’s an adventure, and I’d love to be part of yours as you step into parenthood.
